Natural Toilet Cleaner

Another must-have for DIY cleaning products is a dependable toilet cleaner. This is a great one if you want to avoid strong bleach.

What you’ll need:

  • A large squirt-cap bottle
  • Small funnel
  • Castile liquid soap (1/3 cup)
  • Water (two cups)
  • Baking soda (two tablespoons)
  • Lemon essential oil (five drops)
  • Eucalyptus essential oil (five drops)
  • Lavender essential oil (five drops)

How to make it:

Place the funnel into the bottle and pour in the 1/3 cup of liquid castile soap, two cups of water and two tablespoons of baking soda. This should foam up, so wait until it stops. Then, add five drops of each for the lemon, eucalyptus, and lavender essential oils. Screw the cap on and shake well.

As with all toilet cleaners, when using, squirt into the bowl and wait to let it set in before cleaning away.
